Stan Ponte is a Senior Global Real Estate Advisor and Associate Broker with Sotheby’s International Realty - Upper East Side Brokerage. He has been consistently named among the top agents in Manhattan by sales volume according to “The Thousand” list, an annual national ranking by the Wall Street Journal and REAL Trends. As a realtor in New York City for the past 20 years, Stan’s client list ranges from first time home buyers to CEOs, philanthropists, hedge fund managers, tech world innovators and entertainers. Stan’s success as a top performer in New York City’s white glove firms includes two years of management experience at a global real estate firm, where he honed his business development and agent services skills. In 2017, in addition to Stan’s resale activities, he is proud to have been chosen as co-director of sales to represent the Woolworth Tower Residences. “The opportunity to sell extraordinary homes in the most recognizable and beloved building in the world is one of the proudest moments of my career,” Stan says.
A graduate of New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts, Stan previously served on the Board of Directors of the Pre-War Condominium that he calls home and currently serves as the President of The Drama League. He was one of the founding members of the successful Broker’s Build with Habitat for Humanity NYC, and is also a strong supporter of the Anti-Violence Project which awarded him in 2017 with their highest recognition, “The Courage Award”. Stan also supports the work of the Bailey House, the Catskill Animal Sanctuary and the American Repertory Theater at Harvard University where he serves on the NYC Leadership Circle and serves on the board of the Bedford Playhouse. “My commitment to my friends, family and non-profit organizations, especially through the theater, is paramount to my sense of being a responsible and grateful citizen and a proud contributing member of the community.”
More About Michael Valdes
Michael Valdes is the Senior Vice President of Global Servicing for Realogy Corporation. In that role he oversees the international servicing platform for all Realogy brands including Century 21, Coldwell Banker, ERA, Better Homes & Garden, Corcoran, Climb and Sotheby’s International Realty in 113 countries. He has been with Realogy in a variety of roles for the past 14 years. Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Valdes was Director of Private Banking at Deutsche Bank for just under a decade where he oversaw a book of business of just under $1 billion. He has the distinction of being the first Director in the United States of Latino descent.
Mr. Valdes is the Chair of the AREAA Global Advisory Board and co-host of the 2020 AREAA Global Luxury Summit. He is also a current member of the NAHREP Corporate Board of Governors. Additonally, he is a member of the Realogy Diversity Board as well as the Executive Chair of the ONE VOZ, Hispanic ERG for the firm. He is a former Board Member of Mount Sinai Hospital in Miami Beach as well as the Shanti Organization in San Francisco. Michael was also a Board Member of Pink & Blue for 2, an organization started by Olivia Newton-John to promote breast and prostate cancer awareness. He currently resides in New York City and has a home in Miami.
